Training and test in an automatic car. The licence then entitles you to drive vehicles with automatic transmission.

How do I register?

You register in person at our driving school at Ulmenstr. 2. Simply drop by during our opening hours – we will advise you and discuss the next steps. You can also reach us beforehand by phone or email.

Which licence classes do you offer?

We train for the car driving licence: Class B with manual transmission, B78 with automatic and B197 with manual-transmission authorisation. Trailer training will follow from 2027.

What is the difference between B78 and B197?

With both, you take the practical driving test in an automatic car. With B78, the automatic restriction remains (code 78). With B197, you additionally prove that you can drive a manual car; code 197 then also allows you to drive vehicles with manual transmission. Find out more in the B197 section.

When can I reach you?

You can find us at the driving school at these times: Tuesday & Thursday 17:00–20:00, Saturday 10:00–14:00. Outside these times, feel free to write to us – by email to info@fahrschule-devam.de or via WhatsApp. You will find any changes, for example on public holidays, on the contact page.

Which documents do I need?

We will discuss with you in person which documents and certificates you need for your driving licence application – so you don't forget anything and can start with confidence.
